It
differs from conventional systems by having 7 integrated groundglass
markings (patent applied). That means there is no need (any
more) to exchange ground glasses. A part of the optical system
is a wheel with 7 groundglass markings, most of them are combi-markings,
which can be turned manually at the left side of the OIC-16.
The OIC-16 is a precise instrument which was conceived for the
rough use at a film set.The housing is of light alloy, hermetically
sealed and fitted with a 54 PL mount to adapt lenses. |

¼” thread in the housing, as well as
the handle enables to mount the OIC to a tripod
(e.g. one leg tripod) which is very handy when using
longer ranges of focus |

The
ergonomic designed wooden handle lies in the hand phantastically
and the fastening stirrup on the top allows to clamp it
at any snap hook |
